 PlymouthFirst is a community organization formed by local citizens with the following vision, mission, and goals: 


VISION

A Plymouth where the best and equitable interests of all its residents are advanced and balanced to the benefit of the entire community.


MISSION

PlymouthFirst is a community organization that encourages the informed and active participation of Plymouth citizens in local government, works to  increase understanding of major municipal public policy issues, and promotes responsible public policy through education and advocacy.


GOALS

  • To encourage smart economic development that promotes a sustainable tax rate for Plymouth residents and businesses
  • To prepare Plymouth for the future by preserving its unique historical, cultural, and natural resources legacy 
  • To ensure ethical practices by all elected officers and designated appointees thereof  
  • To advocate good management practices and budgetary discipline 
  • To inform the public on community matters and build citizen participation in the democratic process

PlymouthFirst Meetings

PlymouthFirst Board & Advisory Meeting Update 2020

General meetings throughout the year are held in Plymouth Library grand room with speakers on relevant subjects. During the Covid-19 pandemic, these meetings have been held remotely via Zoom. 


The board of directors and advisory group generally meet monthly and regular members are invited by notifying the secretary Dennis Stratton due to the room accommodations.  These are now being held remotely via Zoom.
